Backwater Tour of Kerala - 5 Nights -6 Days
(Destination covered: Kochi – Munnar – Periyar – Alleppey)

Day 01:- Arrival at Kochi

Welcome on arrival by S.G.Holidays representative at Kochi Airport. After meet and assist transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Kochi.

Day 02:- Kochi – Munnar By Surface (135 Kms / 04 Hrs Drive)

Breakfast & drive towards Munnar. On the way to Munnar you can see tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers, lust green hills, a place so difficult to describe, very low population too far from pollution, most of the covered by Tata tea. On arrival check in to the hotel. Evening wander through the tea estates. Lunch & dinner in local restaurant / hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03:- Munnar – Periyar (90 Kms / 03 Hrs Drive)

Today after breakfast will proceed for Munnar sightseeing visit the Tea Plantations, Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Lake. Lunch in hotel / restaurant & then will drive toward Periyar. On arrival check in to the hotel. Dinner in hotel / restaurant. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04:- At Periyar

Early breakfast, proceed for an adventurous trip, as you set out on Jungle treks through the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary along with our much trained local guide. Then will proceed for the dense spice plantations. Later you can go to the spice market in Kumily. Lunch & Dinner in local restaurant / hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05:- Periyar –Alleppey (Backwater Houseboat)

Morning breakfast and drive towards Alleppey. On arrival, board into a traditional Kerala style Backwater Houseboat. You can see panoramic backwater stretches, lush paddy fields. Cruise through the backwater. Lunch & dinner in houseboat. Overnight stay at Houseboat.

Day 06:- Alleppey – Kochi + Departure

Morning breakfast in Backwater houseboat. Checkout & drive to Kochi and proceed city tour visit St. Francis Church, the oldest Church in India,Jew Town and Mattancherry Palace, built by Portuguese, this Palace contains some of India's most beautiful murals. Afternoon in local restaurant afternoon free for leisure and shopping in local market. Evening proceed for dinner at a local restaurant and then transfer to Kochi airport to catch flight for onwards destination along with Sweet Memories.
